Beep Beep, beep beep

It’s been years since I have written in this space, but I was recently inspired by my friend Lucy and her powerful energy that she is still unaware of.

Tune in, tune in to the rest of your life. If you have found yourself feeling lost in life, it is because you have become out of tune with what your soul desires and you have lost the path you chose for yourself in this life. Sometimes, though, you are not truly lost but in a period of a recalibration of sorts. Recalibration can feel overwhelming and painful, but it is through these exact feelings that you will evolve to the next milestone of your existence. Try to keep your faith and know that as long as you stay true to yourself, life will never take you to a place or a situation that you are not meant to be in. Many people discover themselves in painful and challenging situations and find it difficult to believe from a human perspective that they have chosen such an awful thing for themselves. They might get defensive at my words and think that I am somehow telling them that they are deserving of such a dismal fate, but that is not at all my perception of them or the message I am trying to communicate.

We must always keep in mind that besides our human existence, our life force extends way beyond what we see in the mirror. Our extended life force and its ambitions are concealed from us when we are born into this magical world of illusion. We immerse ourselves in our humanity and forget that we are much more than what we see and what others see. This process is all part of a mutual decision that you made before birth. You agree to live these challenges and hardships, and you agree to forget who you really are. It is as if you are playing a game or that you’re up on stage playing a role. Therefore, when seemingly undesirable things happen, it is never a punishment for you. It is something that your spirit self has agreed to but that your human self is not aware of. It can be painful to accept that we ourselves have agreed for people to betray us, for our health to suffer, for our pockets to be empty, and for our bodies to be tired from just living our lives. But this is the truth, and this is how it is. If you can accept this harsh truth, you can be relieved of some or even all of your suffering.

See yourself as a player in a video game who is trying to get to the next level. Some have chosen a safer and more stable life of luxury and comfort, while others who have already experienced this find that they want something more adventurous this time around. So if you are having a hard life, don’t see yourself as a failure. See yourself as a brave adventurer. What is your reward for living such a difficult existence? That through this pain and hardship you are currently experiencing, your soul will learn and evolve, and when you leave this life, you will feel rewarded and exalted from everything you have learned. Tears of appreciation and relief will definitely fall from your eyes as you transition to your next mission. Trust yourself more than my own or anyone else’s words, and you’ll find your way. Believe that no matter the circumstances, you are loved, and you are eternal.

How to Get Closer to Being the Future You

The intricacies of life can be complicated and at times like walking a minefield in which you feel trapped, suffocated, and with no preferred choices available to you. Know that every single time you feel this, it is not true. Perhaps the road you wanted to take seems closed off, and this brings you sadness, but trust that there is a reason why that road has been closed off to you, be it a job, a relationship, a business opportunity, etc. But there are always choices available to you, even if it’s one that feels very uncomfortable to take.

It’s not that there is some god out there orchestrating what is happening in your life. You are actually the one who is creating it all with your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Taking responsibility for what you have created in your life can be painful, especially when you feel like you haven’t done well and are criticizing yourself for it. Well, lighten up, and guess what?! You need to forgive yourself and promise to do better today, in this very moment. As they say in weight loss programs, every ounce counts, and it is the ounces that add up to pounds, which add up to the desired weight loss. So it is in life. Each moment that you do better, each moment where you make better choices, perform improved actions, and have higher vibrational feelings is significant. Each of these little moments will add up with each other and become bigger and better, and these little improved moments, decisions, and feelings are the stepping stones to a life that pleases you more.

It’s not about sitting around and thinking about the future and pining for it to finally be. It’s about already trying to be the person you envision yourself being in the future in this very moment. Every small attempt toward being that person or having that life you envision is one step closer to actually being and having them. As long as you feel that what you want and how you want to be are somehow in the future, it will never be, and it will never actualize in your life. So bring the future into your life now by taking baby steps toward it. Don’t be afraid, there are so many of us with you and cheering you on!

Here is a simple example from my life. I always imagined myself to be a person who had a daily skincare regimen that I loved and a wardrobe with various amazing outfits that I could choose from for any occasion. I’d just fling my closet doors open, and there they would be. But up until now I have had neither. Why have I had neither ever? Because I never really took the time or took any steps toward it. As far as a perfect skincare routine, I never actually tried out a few products in an attempt to see which ones I liked and could truly commit myself to buying for a long period of time, much less actually loving them. I just bought skincare products spontaneously or maybe what was on sale. Then I wouldn’t buy it again even if I had liked it. At times I would have toner and an exfoliator, but then months would go by where I hadn’t had those or considered them important. So a skin care line that I used daily and faithfully never appeared since I had never been truly serious about finding it. Not until I told myself, “This is our project. We WILL find the skincare regime that we deserve and that we love. The one that makes our skin glow and smells heavenly!” The point is that as soon as I made the commitment to do this, I found and actually do the skin care routine that I’ve been fantasizing about for years. My wardrobe and closet are still a work in progress, though.

Another example is that I’ve always loved to write and wanted to become a writer. But did I make a daily or even weekly block of time to actually sit down and write? No, I did not. If I had pursued my passion for writing years ago, I would be so much further along now. But I’m not letting that hinder me today. Today, I sat down and wrote something. I took a small step toward my goals, and I’m proud of myself for that.

What small step will you take for yourself today? After you take it, don’t forget to smile and let yourself feel proud!
